Snowmaking in Full Swing on Ski Tracks
Snowmaking along the Finlandia Ski Marathon route is progressing at a rapid pace. Snow production has been underway since the beginning of the year, with well over 5,000 cubic metres of snow already produced.
One Month to Go – Snowmaking Underway at Several Points Along the Route
The cold spell around the turn of the year and the existing natural snow cover are accelerating the opening of the ski trail network in the Lahti and Hollola region in Finland. Snowmaking is currently underway at several points along the Finlandia Ski Marathon route.
Some changes in Finlandia Ski Routes – Two 32-km loops to be included in the long distance
52nd Finlandia Ski Marathon with all distances is now confirmed. The original plan will remain at only 20 kilometers. The 32-kilometer route is slightly modified, and the 62-kilometer route will include 32 km twice.
Finlandia Ski Marathon tackles challenges caused by weather conditions - organizing the event requires effort
Finlandia Ski Marathon will be held on the Lahti and Hollola, on the Salpausselkä ski tracks on February 22-23, 2025. During the winter the weather in Lahti has not been on the organizers' side, but the event consisting of different routes can be organized as planned.
