TOP3 visits during Finlandia Ski Marathon!

Lahti is full of interesting places to explore when you come for the Finlandia Ski Marathon. We recommend staying at least one night in the Lahti region – here are a few absolute must-see attractions to visit in addition to your ski trip.

Ski Museum

Dive deep into the history of skiing, get to know legendary ski heroes, experience the immersive S.N.O.W. exhibition, or try out other winter sports besides skiing. The Ski Museum features both a ski jumping and a biathlon simulator! There is also a lovely museum shop where you can find unique souvenirs.

The Ski Museum is located at the Sports Centre, right next to the ski stadium.
Opening hours: Tue–Fri 9 am–5 pm, Sat–Sun 11 am–4 pm.

Teivaan Hehku

Relax after skiing in the sauna and refresh yourself with an ice swim. You can also treat yourself in the warm outdoor pool under the beautiful open sky. Teivaan Hehku is located approximately 700 metres from the Sports Centre. Sauna world opening hours: Fri 6:30 am–9 pm, Sat–Sun 11 am–9 pm.

Kahvila Kariranta

Enjoy the lakeside scenery and take a stroll along the waterfront promenade to stop for coffee at the delicious Kahvila Kariranta. A warm atmosphere, wonderful sweet and savoury treats, and a versatile drink selection will complete your event experience in Lahti!
