Finlandia Ski Marathon Routes to Change – Original Plan Cannot Be Implemented Due to Snow Conditions
Due to challenging snow conditions, the organizers of the Finlandia Ski Marathon are forced to deviate from the original course plan. As no snowfall is forecast for the Lahti region, the 62-kilometer course cannot be implemented. Snow conditions will also cause changes to the other race distances.
Some changes in Finlandia Ski Routes – Two 32-km loops to be included in the long distance
52nd Finlandia Ski Marathon with all distances is now confirmed. The original plan will remain at only 20 kilometers. The 32-kilometer route is slightly modified, and the 62-kilometer route will include 32 km twice.
ROUTE UPDATE: After inspection the route of 32 km is mainly in good condition
During the weekend inspections were made on the Finlandia Ski Marathon tracks.
